The Holistic Optimal Health Center is a multi-disciplinary, complete Holistic Health Center at 3801 W. Business 83 in Harlingen Texas. At The Holistic Optimal Health Center we treat the entire person, including the mind and body, as a whole, not as parts or segments. We attempt to maximize the body's own natural healing resources to combat and prevent disease. We believe that while it is important to treat the immediate agents of the disease (symptoms), it is even more important to build a strong constitution. We do this by attending to factors other than just the body itself. A person's state of mind, amount of exercise, nutrition, life-style, and degree of relaxation are all considerations in a holistic viewpoint of optimum health.

About the Doctor
Dr. Nanjappa Sreenivas (Dr. See) has a M.D. and is the Director of the Valley Medical Center and the Holistic Optimal Health Center. He is a native of Bangalore, India and developed the "Twin Medical Centers" as a Holistic Health Clinic that blends the ancient Indian medicine with modern scientific technology.

Dr. See got his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery Degree in India where he worked in hospitals before moving to England. While in India he studied Ayurvedic and Herbal Supplement Therapy. In the United Kingdom, he practiced in coronary and geriatric units. After three years in England, he interned in Chicago, Ill. and did his psychiatric residency at the Hayden Donahue Mental Institute. Later he transferred to a hospital in Norman Oklahoma where he specialized in psychiatry and taught.

Since 1981, Dr. See has working to improve the mental health in the Valley at Valley Baptist Medical Center, Harlingen Medical Center and MHMR . Dr. See is a Master Teacher in Yogas (Meditation and Spirituality) and is associated with several religious organization.

Dr. See has been married to Sumitra for over 30 years. They have two children, Rashmii and Kiran. Both children are following in their father's footsteps. Dr. See's daughter, Rashmi is a medical student attending Baylor School of Medicine in Houston where they are now teaching Alternative Medicine as a course which includes Indian and Oriental therapies. Kiran is a medical student at Northwestern University .
