Resource Development Institute is one of the few consulting organizations to integrate needs assessment, research based program design, program evaluation, community linkages and grant writing...and apply these skills for funding to address the most urgent community issues: substance abuse, youth violence, family strengthening, housing, and alternative energy. In these and other areas we provide the information that Directors use to create programs to meet the changing funding requirements of private and public funding sources. We write the Grants to obtain the necessary funds.

Overview of Grant Services:
Letters of Inquiry. Before we begin working on a grant proposal, we write an Initial "letter of inquiry" to the potential grantor. The letter summarizes the main reasons your organization is a good candidate for the grant. The grantor will reply one of two ways: 1) You will be invited to submit a grant proposal; or 2) The grantor will let you know that they are not currently funding your type of situation. Letters of inquiry ($20 an hr. /letter) show you the most appropriate grants to pursue.
Grant Proposal Development and Writing: This service includes review of the potential grantor's "Grant Proposal Guidelines," appropriate research to strengthen the impact of the proposal, proposal writing, scheduled reviews with client, revisions and proof-reading of final document. Minimum fee for state and federal grants is $20.00 an Hr.
Note: We do not work on contingency or commission.
Grant Proposal Editing: If your organization wants a completed proposal evaluated prior to submission to the funding source, our grant writers for hire can review your written proposal, identify weaknesses, make recommendations for improvement, and edit and polish the final submission. Fee $20 hr.
